First Run with Zwift RunPod

Last year I had gotten my Zwift RunPod and was now ready to take my first run with it. This video from last year show the frustration of that very first run. From logging in to Zwift as a runner (I’d previously ridden as a cyclist since I’m a mountain bike coach), to discovering the RunPod is not ANT+ compatible, to discovering that Zift won’t do BLE on a PC unless it’s an onboard BLE chip (like a laptop), to discovering that the RunPod will need to be calibrated (FWIW, updates on that later), to discovering that Zwift will attempt to force you into very narrow bands or running prowess and give you a suitable training program to match.

Anyway, here all that is in a video that’s a bit longer than the previous ones, so I hope you enjoy it.

That all being said, here it is a year later and I’m a bit wiser (I hope) and still use it almost every day for treadmill training. I suppose that’s a testimonial to appreciate.
